Synopsis:	The UN International Year of Forests is about giving a voice to one of our most precious natural resources. Leading its official celebration in Germany is a highly integrated multimedia campaign titled Mensch Wald. From now to September, directors and artists across Germany are creating personal films about how the forest inspires them. The audience can follow their journeys, watch live premieres, and share their own story via an international short film contest hosted by Vimeo. Three finalists will win prizes that include national screenings of their films. Interactivity is further encouraged via social media, event narrowcasting and online editorial.
