Synopsis:	Big Cat Live was the most ambitious live Natural History broadcast ever attempted. Day and night, a team of presenters, cameramen and experts followed the lives of lions, cheetahs and leopards on the Masai Mara. Pioneering remotely controlled and manned infrared cameras delivered pictures live to the UK for television broadcast and live to the internet site. Content was created for News, Childrens and Big Cat Live's own website. It was statistically the most successful ever produced for a BBC Knowledge Production, including a vast range of new and interactive content which built effectively a community of viewers and supporters.
